Our Founder
Founder and CEO Bebe Kanter
Barbara Kanter has over 35 years of experience in providing English and cultural training to non-native speakers of English. She is the founder of several organizations that focus on noise mitigation, environmental justice, diversity and inclusion, and political and environmental activism.
Barbra Kanter has a master's degree in city/urban, community and regional planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and a bachelor's degree in sociology with a focus on urban and Russian studies from Barnard College.
Her mission is to leverage her network and skills in communication, analytical, and social media marketing to spread the word that climate change is real and that anything an individual can do to slow the rate of change is worth trying. She is passionate about fostering a culture of respect and collaboration among people of different backgrounds, perspectives, and interests.
Barbra Kanter is the founder of Quiet Collier, an ad hoc group that advocates for noise reduction and environmental protection, co-chair of real estate and environmental programs at Harvard Club of Chicago, and co-chairperson of the Naples Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society. She is former candidate for Collier County Commission District #2 and founder of Renaissance Properties and two other businesses.
